Rental Equipment - Value and Performance

There are two types of rentals, Value Rental and Performance Rental, in line with our philosophy of offering the best value equipment and a "try before you buy program" with premium equipment. New to our Value Rental inventory is the line Tusa line of high quality, reasonably priced regulators and BCDs for rental.

The RS-110 regulator combines the R-100 first stage and S-10 second stage resulting in a tried and true workhorse regulator. The R-100 first stage features a balanced piston to reduce the effects of changes at water depth. The SS-10 safe-second is a reliable octopus that is optimized for better performance. The SS-10 Platina Octopus combines a large discharge valve, deflection tube and deflector to reduce exhaust resistance for easier breathing. Equipped with a high visibility yellow housing and 33” yellow hose.

Instruments:

 A Compact and lightweight 2 gauge console, the SCA-230T provides all the dive information you need, in a mini size. This model features an analog 5000 PSI pressure gauge, 200 ft depth gauge and is engineered and manufactured to TUSA's rigid quality and performance standards.

BCD: The BCJ-3200 utilizes TUSA’s Advanced Weight Loading System (A.W.L.S.), which permits easy weight loading and releasing, while ensuring no accidental weight loss. This is a good choice for value rental for the diver preferring a traditional type of jacket BCD.

Regulators:

The Atomic Z2, high performance (low inhalation efforts at deep depths and high breathing rates) yet delivers the air naturally and comfortably. The Z2 first stage is made from chrome plated brass and type 316 stainless steel. The second stage features a precision machined brass demand valve tube, plated with Palladium/ Zirconium for corrosion resistance 3-4 times that of conventional chrome plating. The lever, orifice and second stage spring are titanium. Nitrox ready: Factory ready for Nitrox to 40%

BCD:

The Aeris Sport BCD Streamlined comfort. The clean and streamlined, no-nonsense weight integrated jacket style BC just got better. Comfortable but extremely functional, the Sport BC features a comfortable contoured air cell with big front pockets and multiple stainless steel grommets for knife and retractor mounting. High lift capacity and minimum drag, EZ-Lock Integrated Weight System accommodates up to 20 lbs, Quick-release adjustable harness straps, 2 large pockets, patented adjustable depth compensating cummerbund.

Wetsuits:

Divers Source has over 50 wetsuits in rental inventory. Men’s wetsuits are 1 piece 6.5 mm suits or 2 piece 6.5mm farmer john and jacket type. Most divers find that using both pieces are very comfortable for diving in water down to around 55 degrees F water. Available sizes: XS, M, ML, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5xl

               Important Note Regarding Personal Equipment (Mask/Snorkel/Fins/Boots)

We do not have personal items such as mask, snorkel, fins, and boots available for rental. In special cases for traveling divers (visitors to Japan) by advance arrangement and special request we may be able to loan fins, but mask/snorkel and boots must be brought or may be purchased. For these items, personal fit is essential to ensure a safe and satisfactory dive.
