Tanks must have a Hydro Inspection every 5 years and
a Visual Inspection each year!
Avoid this! Scuba tank inspection is crucial to every diver.
Divers Source is certified to do annual visual scuba tank
inspections by the Professional Scuba Inspectors, Inc,(PSI,
Inc.)and NAUI. When the cylinders are back from hydro
testing, they are visually inspected for sustained load
cracking, external damage or corrosion, internal pitting or
corrosion and any irregularities. They are not only
inspected with a fiber optics internal inspection light but
also with the Visual Plus. The Visual Plus uses eddy
currents to thoroughly inspect the threaded neck region of
aluminum cylinders.

Helpful Hints

Never buy a second hand
cylinder without seeking good advice first.

Your valve may not be serviced unless you ask
for it unless it is damaged, in poor condition and noticed by
the station operator.

Put your cylinder in for test at the end of
the month due on your test stamp, to be tested and stamped with
the next months date.
